Stop spam
This site has a no spam policy. If you have received unwanted e-mails appearing to be from this address, especially content unrelated to computer animation, you and this site were targets of e-mail spoofing or backscatter.
E-mail spoofing is a kind of online ‘identity’ theft where the "FROM” field of an e-mail is faked to disguise the true identity of the spammer, and is illegal.
If you have received unwanted e-mails do the following ASAP:
1. In your e-mail program, enable the viewing of full headers. The full header of the spam message should look similar to this:

2. Copy the full header. Go to SpamCop. Paste the full header into the empty form and push the “INTERROGATE” button.
3. Forward the whole message with full headers to the e-mail returned from SpamCop, along with the following in the body of your report:
“I am receiving spoofed messages from the server addressed in the headers of this email. Please shut down this server immediately, or close the relays on the box. You are hosting a machine that is spamming and may be held liable if you refuse to correct this issue.”
4. Follow up with the support or administrative contacts that respond to your complaint. Insist that they take measures to ensure that they do not transmit or unwittingly facilitate illegal spam.
5. Take back your inbox. Go to Spamlinks to find more ways to fight spam.
